Will the stock air temp sending unit in the manifold change fast enough to be useful in short bursts to read the boosted air verses normal air temps? and how accurate is it? I tried it last weekend and I only saw a 5 degree rise with a 9 psi boost....no intercooler.
With my autotap logs, it reads about every .3 seconds. I have seen with about 8 pounds of boost my intake temps run from about 140 ish to close to about 216 degrees F. once I let off and cruise obviously things cool down again...
I would suspect you should see more than 5 degrees with that amount of boost.... even with an intercooler...
