Default Has anyone documented power gain from removing resonator?

I've heard anecdotally that the C4 resonator (thinking specifically of the LT1 years) is quite restrictive.

Has anyone removed theirs and happened to do before and after dynos?

The only gain you would get is a lot more noise The stock resonators are straight thru 2.75" ID peforated tubes with a fiberglass like packing. I tried that on my car when in its begining stages of mods. I quickly resinstalled the resonator due to the amount of resonance without it. I was running a 3" SLP system back then.
