Default Wheel Bearing Question?

I just noticed that I have slight north/south play when I wiggle my rear wheels. The east/west is tight with no play at all. Is this the sign of a bad wheel bearing? I don't hear any noise or unusual sound while driving. Thanks for any help.

Is the test for the front wheel bearing the same as the rear?

A bad wheel bearing should have the same play, 360* East-West (3 and 9 o'clock), only, would indicate the tie rod ends. North-South (12 and 6 o'clock), only, is likely camber rod bushings.

Thanks for all the input! Since my play is only at 12 and 6 o'clock, I'm going to replace the camber rod bushings and post my results.

Watch for movement at the various places for movement. It could be just a loose camber adjustment. The above is merely, "rule of thumb", to get you headed in the right direction. YOU need to narrow it down, to your satisfaction. Don't just throw parts at it on MY say so. You are there...I'm not.
