The 94 has not been driven since last Wed. On Sat I installed new radiator(Dewitts aluminum) and tonight I finally got the right size upper hose to complete the job. I filled the cooling system and ran the engine to 200 degrees. I shut it off for about 10 minutes and I was going to take it for a drive. This time it started hard and idled terribly. I could barely get it out of the garage. It pinged and missed badly. I let it sit for about an hour and restarted it and now it runs fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It has 75K on it and I don't know if the opti has ever been replaced. Thanks Craig

Did you drible any antifreeze onto the opti during the bleeding of your cooling system? It sounds like it got a little moist or wet and then dried out.
This sounds electricial. A ground wire to something? You are right,
also sounds alot like the Opti. You would know if coolent leaked from the reconnection and disconnection of the radiator. Good luck.
Nothing was disconnected in the area of the opti, but I ran my hand under the pump just to make sure and there was no moisture. Tonight I took it for a 1/2 hr drive and it ran great. This is very puzzling. I will check the coil ground. Thanks guys, Craig
