44 and a grandfather. Never really lusted for vettes. I have restored a BMW 2002 and Datsun 240Z in my bachelor days. I've owned the 92 coupe for less than a month. It is my going to work car. I also own a 97 Deville, 97 Ford F350 Power Stroke crew cab SRW, and a 83 Mitsu 4X4 flatbed farm truck. Go figure.

I was 31, that was last August.
I wasted 10 years of my life screwing around with worthless F-Body's
If I could go back in time, I would do it right the first time and buy a vette.

17 back in '64. I bought a '59 230hp auto.for $2000. Within a year I changed it over to a 270hp 4speed, then wrecked it. Had a '65 coupe and a '66 convert after that. Went without one from '72-'98 then bought a '96 Coll. Ed. LT4 Convert. By far the best one is the '96.

I was 13 when I got my first vette. It was a 73 bigblock 4-speed. I finished paying for it when I was 16 and sold it and bought a 75 4spd/L82 Coupe. I know I am sure allot of you are saying spiolled or what ever. My dad owned a Corvette shop and instead of paying me money for helping out, I got the vette instead.

Due to insurance costs, waited 'til I was 25 and bought a nice '61. Had it for a year and traded it for a '69 big block which I still have along with a nice '89.

I was 18 when I got my first vette it was a graduation present from my parents. It was a black 90 6spd coupe. Which was soon totalled by a drunk driver that ran a redlight.

My next vette didn't come until I was 20, when I purchased my 88 convert. I was white with black leather interior and a black top. Only had 60,000 when I bought it in 1993.

Then my 3rd came when I was 26. Oddly enough it was another 90 6spd coupe. Thats the one that I built the 383 for. Which is now gone as well.

I need another I think. Can't be vetteless for too long!!!

Bought my '70 as my 35th B'Day present to myself. Got my '87 18 months later (after I sold my Rustang). I'm keeping both forever!!! Next on the list is a C5 to add to the fleet.

I was 17 when I got my vette. I originally got a '69 Camaro Z28 that was silver w/ black racing stripes. It was the most beautiful car I've ever seen (even more so than my vette) and it was in perfect condition from the prior owners because they use to bring it to car shows. The bad thing about it though is that I was too afraid to drive it in anything but perfect weather because I was too afraid to hurt it or mess it up cause I had never driven stick. So I didn't get to drive it much.

So in 1997 (when I was 17), my dad sold me his red '92 4-spd auto convertible to me. He beats the hell out of his cars, so i've been spending the past 3-4 years just fixing it and suping it up along the way. I prefer the C4's over the C5's even if their performance is lesser. I'll stick with this car for a while.

In 1968, I was 16, and it was a 1960 with a three speed. We got so used to looking for them, my Dad bought another '60 with dual fours and a four speed with radio and heater delete. Wish I had one of them now. I have had about 15 or 16 more through the years. Just an '85 Z51 now. Oh, I forgot, my red '60 was perfect and I paid $1050 for it. Dad gave $1100 for his. They were both in great condition. His was more original than mine. I remember riding the bus to school because I was afraid to leave it in the parking lot. Sacrifices sacrifices. Ken

20yrs old, bought mine back on July 19th

13th day and counting

K&N Air Filter & Open Air Lid are my only mods so far

Today my boss asked me if I wanted to join the company so no more contracting and I can afford to mod this car and keep my other one instead of selling it, I'm quite happy

Now to just hash me out a nice contract ;P
Oh that and learn wtf I'm doing with cars, I'm just learning to mod and have lots of interest so I gaurantee this won't be my last 'Vette

Mind you still getting used to it, did a very nice curb check today ;( First time I've done that and actually cared about the care I'm driving, heh. Scary... isn't it ;P
