Thanks for the post on the hot fuel tank topic. Checked my vent line today and gee it appears to in plugged also. Never noticed the temp of the tank, but it did hiss mightily when the cap was removed and that only started after I replaced the short hose section in front of the left rear. Guess that's another thing on the list to do while it's down.

I've learned so much from the folks here.. Thanks again.

Hey Joe,
Real Glad to hear you found the problem.While its normal for some hiss and pressure to come out, I think our older cars were getting really bad...Mt. Helens eruption like..be sure to run compressed air through the tiny hoses and lines on each section to ensure it blows through.
