GIJoe,

That's great, where did you get it from?

I am hoping that it's from Barnett's.

I am getting my gears installed right now, it would be perfect timing.

Hope you like it.

Guys- Joe's shifter came from me, Hurst's "Corvette Engineering consultant". He was one to jump on a few early units I had available. They are not yet on the market, but will be shortly, like the end of this week or early next week.

The best place to order is through Barnett Performance. The price is cheaper and the handling charge is cheaper than any of the other retailers.

Installation is not that tough (compared to installing an engine...) but will take 2-6 hours depending on your exhaust and skills.

If you want to know about the installation, see this document, the final draft text of the instructions:

http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gt1479b/H39150846.doc

Figures are done but not in this text I have posted. For an exploded view of the shifter assembly, see this GM pic:

We are waiting for a coupling pin that is being plated, to be delivered tomorrow. I expect assembly and packaging to occur next week, shipment the following week.

Delivery update:

Shifters are finally back from E-coat.

Coupling pins have been delivered.

Final reaming and assembly will occur tomorrow through next Tuesday, as will small hardware packaging.

The instructions are at the printers, to be delivered next Tuesday.

I expect final packaging to occur late next week, and delivery at the beginning of the following week 7/30.
