Welcome. Sorry to hear about your Opticrapaphobia. I think all of us that have one live in fear of the eventual loss of our ignition system. I have had mine miss and then clear up. For your sake I hope it was a one time thing.

Welcome to the forum!!!!!!!!! You have found a great "second home" to chill out and lurk around in! Everyone here is terriffic! 
Sounds like you should watch the opti for a while if it is running ok now. It is a known GM POS part and they should have recalled all of them.
This thing should have been redesigned for an easier installation/repair. Oh well I'll still love mine to death do us part!
