I went off scale with my 84. (255+ kph) That calculates to 160+ mph.

Over 160mph last year it my Trans AM, I will be getting full driving privileges back on the 31st so I will test the vette for top end, on the track this time.

According to the digital dash I hit 167 mph, on a 3 lane highway. Middle of the night in the mountains, not a sole around except my "co-pilot". Pretty freaky at that speed, that was also before any mods, so who knows now?????

Yes, but was in my Buick GN, quite scary about 140 as it sounded as the t-tops were going to get sucked out of the car.

I hit 154 in my bone stock 87. It was fun, but a little freaky since I needed an alignment.

Went 160Mph in my 89-383CID. The back end starts to feel very light after about 140 - quite scary actually. I have a wing on my 88-420CID but I have yet to top it out.

I have been just a bit past 200 MPH in the LT4, but that's what I built it for!!

The sad thing, I was being beat by another vette (Callaway TT), so that kinda took the fun out of it.....

165mph here, had to slow down to when my radar detector went off, I got clocked at 90mph when he got close enough I didnt get a ticket cause 4 friends that were following me (2 Mustangs, 2 Ford Lightnings) got clocked behind me at 110mph, I got let go cause he pulled all of them over at once. He told them that thier friend in the vette got away for going 90mph

I've hit about 165. There just isn't enough road to go any faster around here. Really a shame.

You bet,
In 1996, on the way home from the dealer.
Car had 50 miles on it at the time. Just wanted to check and make sure I didn't get a lemon.
