Ive got the potenzas on new fikse fm10s, and the firestones on the stock wheels in the garage. Personally I think they are the same tire, they have a center groove down the center of the potenzas, but otherwise tread is identical ride and sound the same and about 90 bucks a piece cheaper.

I just put a set of Kumho Ecsta's on mine. Got 'um from tirerack.com. Oh, and incidentally got a $50 saving bond too! Love them, especially for the money. But regardless, handle much better than the GSC's and quieter too.

Potenza 730's. more compliant sidewall means less harshness in daily use. I love mine. replaced a set of General tires that came with the car and man what a difference. Goodyears are too expensive and don't have the test results to back up their reputation.

I am another supporter of the Firestone SZ50 EP's. I have had SZ50's on my vette for 2.5 yrs and I love them.

I replaced the original Goodyears with Firestone sz50 EP. The Firestones are quiet and the car handles like it's on rails. No doubt I would buy another set of these Firestones!

But man, do I get grief from the guys at work seeing Firestones on my convertible

Pete

I have a set of bridgestones potenza S02 pole position. They ar GREAT! SUperior wet traction and very good dry. ALl around tire, nice looking. The good part is the rubber compound changes characteristics as the tire wears, which makes them consistent wet or dry even when threads are thin. The also have a small rubber ridge to protect rims from curbs.
