Take it easy on me here. This is hard enough as it is. Without going into alot of detail, it was the cumulative effect of alot of little things that caused me to want to swap vehicles, not anyone thing in particular. That being said, I ended up getting an LS-1 F-body(T/A)...like I said, take it easy on me (at least it's GM.) I'm SURE I'll be back in a vette within 3 or 4 years, maybe a bit less. I'll either come back in a bumper car C-3 vert or something with an LT-4
The funny thing is, what I will miss most is this forum. I have been to both cruise in's, a couple of South east events and have really enjoyed everyones company. I'd still like to participate in the from discussions and who knows, maybe I can still show up at a couple of events if you guys dont mind. I'll still be around on here though.

You sell yours just as I finally get my 383 car back together!! All that's left is putting the hood on. Keep in touch! Oh and when is the next autoX event?? If I didn't have vettes I'd have to have an LS1 ram-air T/A in black or purple.

Sorry to hear you sold it. Made a good choice with the new ride, though. What are the details of the T/A? Will you be autox-ing it? If I didn't have a Vette I would definately be in an LS1 F-bod.
Good luck w/ the new wheels.

Boo, I'm still likely to show up at some vette events, even if I cant participate (Bristol). So I'm sure I'll see you around some. Glad to hear you got that beast back together finally. Our next autox event is this Sunday at William Blount H.S.. See www.etrscca.org for schedule and directions.
Jason, I will most definatly be autocrossing the T/A. That was a major consideration. I can be really, really competetive in f-stock for alot less $$$ than in BSP, especially with a daily driver. As far as the details on the T/A go. It's a 1999, not a ram air, bright red , 6speed, dark grey leather, 31k miles in great shape and I got it for $16400. I took it to the local track last night for it's first time (1/8th mile only ) and clicked off a series of 8.90s and 9.00s with 2.2 60 foot times at anywhere from 79-81mph. In 90 degrees with 97% humidity, 29.8 bar. Its bone stock down to the paper air filter too.
For everyone else, thanks for the kind words, I'll still hang out here quite a bit since I've got to meet and know many of you. Heck, if they let a 99 cobra drag race, a caddy and a ranger do a burnout, and a v-6 mustang autocross at our last cruise in in Bowling Green. Surely I can go

You can stick around on the forum! Why forget all these people you've met? It just means you'll be spending most of your time in Off-Topic instead of the C4 forum.

Guys, you have to understand that red90 owned that car for more than a year... his normal "ownership period" with a car is measured in months. I'll be working on him to switch back as soon as possible. I'm his brother-in-law, and driving his Vette is the only way I get to enjoy the Corvette experience... I think he'll come back.

It would be this Sunday. I'm goin white water raftin! I'll have to log some miles onto the 85 before I hit the autox with it, but I might try out the 84! I'll catch ya at one of the auto X events sometime. If I were to guess I'd say your next will be a C5 ride! Ya gotta stick around here though. You're the only forum member I've met.
