Hey Folks -
I have a question for you all regarding C4 targa tops and what type fits what years. I have a '94 with a glass top and ended up getting an extra solid color top from my dealer. The problem is - long story - that the top doesn't fit. I know that the holes for the windshield mounting screws don't line up. I've scoured the thing for part numbers without any luck. The best I can do is describe the brackets which mount to the top and are threaded for the bolts above the windshield. The ones from my '94 glass top are almost triangular in shape with the mounting hole centers separated by a 1.5" The brackets for the solid top are 2 3/16" apart. I'm fairly certain that the top is for a pre-94 vette. Anyone know how many iterations there were in this design and what year the top I have might fit? I'd like to get rid of it as it's just taking up space.

I dont know much about the years invloved....but there are some adaptors out there...

What price are you looking at?

I think if you go to Astrotops.com they have the information there. If you want to use the top you will have to get a kit that changes the car and you will not be able to use both tops on it. Maybe you can find someone to swap with you. Good luck, Guy
