Try corvette central or one of the other shops. They have a special silicone in a tube. There is the $30.00 stuff and the $5.00 stuff.

P.S. Sure hope you used "Zaino" to polish your car. It will blow you away! www.zainobros.com

Tried all kinds Armor-all, 2001, Wetset, stp and etc. weatherstripping won't take at all so must be the stuff honas recommends.

Thanks for making this post.. I need to put some die-electrical grease on mine. Can't let it get as bad as the original.

I started using silicone spray on weather stripping when I got my 95 Z28. Had it for 3 years, had t-tops and spent close to half its time out of the garage. Used it every 4 months or so. When I sold it, the weather stripping looked even better than when I bought it, and didn't leak either. Prestone makes some in a yellow and silver can. You can find it at Wal Mart or most of the chain automotive stores for around $2-$2.50.

Just don't use a spray or creme that is petroleum based.
