Should I take my K&N airfilter out to race at the drag strip???would there be any gain??? Is it safe???Thanks

Your choice but I'd leave it in. I doubt if you'd see any big difference.

is that tenth of a second you might gain worth risking the chance of sucking up some trash. i know that tenth is a lot of time in drag racing. i have lost some racses by hundreths of a second. i would leave it in though.

Leave it in. I doubt the "possible" gain is worth a motor. K&N has actually found they can flow more air WITH their filter than without!

Leave it in, just make sure it's clean, you won't gain that much(1-2 tenths max).
