Yep...installed one in my 86 Z-51..I installed the cooler behind the front cooling fan, forward of the radiator. I plumbed in the hose through the right front corner by the radiator. You'll find some holes there that will work like a champ. Your car will run warmer in city driving due to the air flow restriction. To compensate for air flow loss I replaced the stock front cooling fan with a ThermaCool 2700 CFM electric fan from JEGS for about 80.00 dollars....don't forget to take some heater hose and tie staps to wrap around the transmission hose where it comes in contact with something to prevent chaffing.
