The Corvette parts book lists more radiators than you can shake a stick at. Today, in the aftermarket, I have never seen a manufactirer offer more than one replacement for 1984 to 1989, even whether standard or auto.

I have a radiator that looks like new. It was recently installed in the '86 Z51 car I dismantled. Since it was a replacement I'm not sure if it's heavy duty or not. The water pump looks brand new too. They are super clean inside. If you're interested I can send pics and numbers. $75 for the radiator plus shipping.
Update:
BTW, the factory parts manual show 84-85 and 86-89 heavy duty radiators having different part numbers. The aftermarket doesn't give a choice of heavy duty or not, just the year of application. So either way an '86 might not fit an 84-85. I haven't looked to see the difference.

Well I just checked my '85 vs. the '86 radiator I have. As far as fit goes, it looks the same. The '86 radiator has a sensor in one tank that my '85 doesn't have. I checked Corvette America as 84-85 all, and 86-89 all and Ecklers 84 only HD, 84 standard and 85-89 all as the same part number. They both break the years down differently. Ebay and others show 84-89 all. Looks like in most cases the 85 gets the same radiator regardless of the application as CFE-EFI mentions. Guess it depends on who you buy from.
