The downside to the Procharger is you are limited to the amount of boost you can make in stock trim. If you want more than like 12lbs of boost you have to upgrade to a cog system to avoid belt slippage.

What does this mean? The intake doesn't change when you put on a supercharger.

Turbos are harder to install and it's all custom work. But give you more preformance in the long run. If it's set up correctly that is. For the quick and easy method I'd go supercharger, if you want to spend atleast a few months working on it, then go for the turbo.

I don't understand? So you don't want a SC because you like your intake? but you want to use a procharger SC?

Are you thinking of a Roots type blower?? Don't seem many(any?) of those around here. Its procharger or vortech(Paxton) for a SC.

Turbo is the best why build power just to take it away to run the car.

i would go for a turbo. they will provide a contant level of boost once the turbo/s have spooled up, whereas a ProChrager (or any other of similar design) will not give you full boost till the upper part of the rev range.

thanks Chris.
