Default help! code 300, multiple cyl. misfire

I got this code again last night. (96 auto) Car has sat for about 1 month without running, so wanted to start it and let it warm up to get things circulated. Ran for about 5 minutes and it started idleing rough, than the check engine light came on. It did this right before I put it away for the winter, but went away.

My question is what causes this code, I am going to spend some time on it this weekend. any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Darin

Sinister87 is posting about this same code in the Scan section. This was my post to him on what fixed mine.

**************************************** **
It took new O2 sensors and one fule injector to cure the P0300 my LT4 issued a little over a year ago. The shop manual has a long list of things to do to try and isolate what is causing the general misfire code. I ended up paying out the nose for GM to find and fix it.

Good Luck!.............MickyD

Thanks MickyD!

I just got back from the garage. Sounds exactly what you suggested. I also got code 131 (low O2 voltage, bank 1) tonight for the first time. I replaced all 4 of my O2 sensors over a year ago, Maybe I will pick one new one up and replace the one that is throwing the code. I also have a set of used injectors on the way and will install them when they get here.
Thanks
