Default 1/4 mile gurus step inside........

With the unusually warm weather here in the land of ahs, the local track owner opened up Sat. So I had to run the Z of course!

Here's the problem, the 1/4 traps weren't working, but the 1000 ft traps were........the car went 101 mph, and 11.04 at a 1000ft.......any ideas what the projected 1/4 mile #s were?

Have one slip thats close, 11.3@1000 ft wound up with a 13.5@106.

My guess would be 13.2@ 108. I'm just a noob, though, wheres the experts?

You have 4.10 or 3.45 gears?

Dont feel bad, 2.197 here. Had a passneger and running the car at 2700 feet. Slept through the light and had to leave slow, shortshifting first due to slippery track . Heres a good laugh for you.....

At the worst it would take 2.16 seconds to travel the remaining 320 ft at 101mph. That would make a 13.16 second run. If you were able to uniformly accelerate to 109mph, thus averaging 105mph over the last 320 feet, it would take 2.07 seconds to cover the distance, thus taking 13.07 seconds.

11.02 at 1000ft = 13.05 @ 113.65mph
10.99 at 1000ft = 13.00 @ 114.18mph
10.98 at 1000ft = 12.95 @ 114.01mph
These are from a stock geared 91 with only a cat back exhaust and a DRM chip.
