Looking at a red 90 ZR1,approx 65000 miles, that was recently wrecked in or near Houston.Looks to have damage to RF door/wheel/hood area.Anyone familiar with this car ? Is the suspension same as regular vette that year ? Thanks,sorry for noob questions !

As long as you get the right suspension option the pieces are normal c4 stuff, the doors are different so hopefully that one could be repaired.

I figure it will sell for at least 10K somtimes the bidders go crazy on a ZR1 and this one is in pretty good shape higher miles but not a hard fix at all I dont know why they totaled it.

Id love to get it and part it out and I might

Not really theres someone in the neighboor hood that called the law on me when I was cutting that frame up

It was in the driveway for 2 days and they called the law damn thing was even covered!

Yes that is the car,and yes,if the bidders get crazy/stupid I see 10K plus but not from me ! I just want it to drive and play,cant afford a newer one and you never know,got my 95 for a good deal,it happens sometimes.Although I have to admit,watching the cars coming out of Katrina I am truly amazed what people will pay for scrap metal with a corvette emblem on it. I guess I will watch and see,you got any 91 up builders for sale ?

Is the whole door different or just wider I would guess ? Car looks too good to part,although resale is probably killled with the salvage.

The door itself is wider, Im not for certain but the outer skin is probably different than a regular door as well


youd be better of finding a complete door than the skin I think...

I know a guy on ebay was selling some door skins but I dont know if they would work on the ZR1...
