For all you racers in Vegas..............May 6th is the West Coast Corvette Challenge at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. $30 entry plus $10.00 to the WCCC. There will be trophies for winners as well as closest reaction time, and closest to dial in. Gates are opening at 3pm, Tech at 4pm, and Eliminations at 8pm. All you bracket racers, make your plans to be at The Strip on May 6th.

I'm going to try to be there if I can keep oil in my engine I don't know if I'll run the car but if I do it won't be ***** to the walls yet. Since it's bracket for the goodies it doesn't really matter.

The question is: Is there going to be 400 other ricers and hot rods in the same lines like last time? I wanna see lots of vette runs...not diesel trucks and HonToyoMazNissUrus.

On the 8th I'll be 59. Do I dare to challenge fate?

Oh, yeah....is the guy from the club going to bring his 700 HP pimpvette?

Isn't that what we tried to do to Mikko, but it didn't work. I guess he's so
light it just added weight for traction.

Uly, how far is it for you to come down just for the drags? I'm jealous....... Have fun y'all and keep the rubber side down.

From L.A. it takes me about 4+ hours if there is no traffic.
I'll be there May 26th for the "Checkerboard Vette Gathering"
(Red & Black Corvettes). Maybe we can (all) get together?

Who wants to meet where? I know there is a bar and grill type place on Craig Rd right as you get off the 15. I'm uncertain of the name, but it looked like it had some sort of Irish theme. Someone from that general area might know the place. Ron?

Does anyone want to meet and cruise as a group to lunch, or just cruise from lunch?

I'm game for having a group cruise to lunch.

Nellis AFB is having a car show that day (130+ cars.) I'll have one of my Z's and my 65 Conv TBird in the show. Maybe we all could meet at the visitors center, view the cars, have lunch, and then go race? There are several places we could eat that we could discuss during the show.

It's over 400 miles for Uly so he should make it in 4-5 hours It takes me six...
