Re: Shifter Rattle (ZR1991)
Just want to publicly thank Art in Baton Rouge. Sometimes such a small part can be very hard to find and he came up with it in minutes. It is my understanding that he has 3 or 4 more if anyone needs them.

Re: Shifter Rattle (FrankUrbinati)
You're welcome, guys, that's what the Vette Family is about.
When my fuel pump went out last week, I got the same help, saved $700, and was running better than ever in just a couple hours.
What goes around comes around.
I still have a couple of the "3mm setscrews" left by the way. Anyone in need?
Regards,

No $. I have a couple left, and I will mail you one. But be sure that's it. If yours is missing, then obviously you need one, e mail me your address. If it's loose, then try tightening it up (but don't strip it).
The front tip on the new ones is slightly different from the stock one, and it is possible it will fix a rattle even when the stock one seems tight enough. I have that problem now, and I am going to try one of the new ones.
I'll let you know, but if you are actually missing one, let me know by e mail, and I'll mail one... Till I run out.
If the new one works where the origonal didn't, maybe we need to swap if someone has a rattle with the stock screw, because the stock screw could be mailed to someone missing one... where there is a 99% chance it will work.
REgards,

The "new" style, with the slightly blunter end, works grest. I just replaced my origonal.
So if you have one that you are afrait to tighten more, I'll swap if you need.
If you are missing yours altogether, I have them and I'll mail you one.
But if you have the one that just won't be quiet, return it to me when you get the new one, because it will help someone that is missing the screw altogether. By the way, I can get more of these, they just won't be free.
