USAZR1....
I was told by the people in the C4 Tech forum to contact you. I'm considering upgrading the gears in my 92 automatic to either 3.45 or 3.54 and I was told that you could get them for me at a reasonable price.
How much would a set and all of the materials needed to install them run me?
Thanks a lot

Re: USAZR1.... (Bradley3)
Since your car is an automatic and therefore Dana 36 equipped,I'm not sure if I can help you. But,I get my Dana gearsets from Al Kindler in Ohio. Maybe he can help you find what you need. His email address is: USAZR1@AOL.COM

Re: USAZR1.... (Bradley3)
Just thought I'd mention that I wrote to Al a few weeks ago looking for a set of 3.55 or 3.75 gears for my Dana 44.
Al promptly replied to my query and advised me that he only dealt with 4.10 gearsets.
For those who are interested in such a gearset, I understand the cost of these was $285 and there was a two to three week waiting period.

Re: USAZR1.... (Red 90 L98 Coupe)
Dana Super 44 gearsets that I know are available are 3.45,3.73,3.90,4.10, 4.30,4.56,& 4.78 ratios,,,no 3.55's or 3.75's. I know for a fact that Al has sold 4.30's and 4.56's besides the 4.10's. He delivered a set of 4.56's to Carlisle for one of our members. I have another source besides Al that I have received 3.90's,4.10's,and 4.30's from but I haven't used it,lately. These gearsets aren't rare. People are just not looking in the correct places. Lots of gearset retailers can get them.

Thanks Clint, I was just relaying what Al wrote to me in case it helped anyone else out there.
Thanks for the clarification on the gearset sizes. It looks like I'll have to do a bit more homework on this subject. I was looking for either a 3.55 or 3.73 (I know I said 3.75 in my original post here) because I had seen 3.55 and 3.73 gearsets advertised for Vipers and figured that these were the same gearsets people refer to when installing "Viper gears" in Dana 44's.
