Car rolled at 00:14 on the video timer. Zero to 100 took 9 seconds; 190 happened at 00:55 and 200 at 01:02. Looked like a shade over 200 to me. You were watching a different video, maybe Brittany.

No sense fooling ourselves. The C6 Z06 is a beast, and is better in many respects to the Zr1. But, the fact that we can actually compare a vehicle that was designed and built over 16 years ago that is pretty comparable is a feat in itself. I mean, does anyone remember the other crap GM was putting out then!

I'm not taking anything away from the C6 ZO6, I love em, they're great cars. Just not a fair comparison: 2007/7 427 cu in against at best a 1995 350 cu in, heavier car. But, you can bet your *** I'll stick up for the ZR-1 every day of the week, heck of a lot more equal to compare it to a 415 ZR-1.

You are right, I stand corrected. It believe it is a fair comparison loosely speaking because in it's day the ZR-1 was King of the Hill and it held that distinction for quite a while. We are comparing two ultimate Corvettes here and the ZR-1 compares very well considering the first one is now 17 years old and the new car which is quite a leap forward in technology doesn't beat it by much.

170 ain't ****. When it can storm to 200 like a strong 415, then you've got something!
BTW - thanks for the Britney photo - I just KNEW that beaver was smooth!
