Default Callaway CR1 Supernatural with O.Z. Futura Rims

Guys,

Just got a chance to snap some pics of my CR1 with the 18" O.Z. Futura Rims. I had the Lips polished to an amazing shine. I added some pics of the engine as well. I think the rims make this CR1 look unbelievable And to think that there is just 1 other Callaway CR1with rims like these that Callaway offered as an option.

Wow......

That is one incredible Callaway Z! Are you going to bring that to Carlisle this year? If so will you park it with "us" or "them"

Gosh I hope you bring it so we can all Drool over it!

I love the AeroBody Kit without Question. I like those wheels and the Dynamag wheels on the kit

That, Is 1 rare ride Love the wheels they still give the depth in the rear that makes a Z so special. Some after market wheels loose the depth I second the motion for a Carlisle appearance...

Yes, I will be heading to Carlisle with the wife this year for the Callaway Gathering .
Thanks for the compliments. I am thinking of getting the Black Widow finish on the engine not sure as of yet, I'm on the fence.

ZR1 Destroyer - I was going to reorder the 547's with the R lip from HRE until a fellow forum member connected me with these wheels.

Sweet!
Is the red body molding something Callaway did? Part of the aerobody?

1BadZR-1 those wheels look great I drool everytime I see that car Like Callaway ZR-1 areobodies better than L-98 cars. They look so bad from the rear! Good reason to save Areobody $$$$$ for ZR-1 rather than do my Twin-Turbo car that didn't come that way!!

Lite Blue - The molding that is red really isn't a molding it is part of the body. I have seen other areobody's paint this section black to make it appear as it if were molding.
C-4 Now - Thanks, I'm glad you like The wheels give the car a completely different, more aggresive look.

] You made a good choice...those look mean on that car! I think the car looks better with these instead of the HRE's.....just my opinion!

My old top end that i removed from my drm368 is in that black finish and i also am on the fence on which color to go with the new stuff. I was thinking of maybe the black chrome just because that crinkle coat was kinda like a dust magnent and towel dust from cleaning had to be blown off with air to look really good, but did look good when clean.

Nice ride!! Are those OZ wheels the same ones a member pointed out on "The Evil Bay" about 5 weeks back? If so score! And now we have the rest of the story. That car looks like its moving standing still!

Goldcylon,

You are exactly right these are the same O.Z. rims that "The Evil Bay" pointed out about 5 weeks ago. When I found out that they were for sale I almost lost it . I took a 2hr trip to Conn. to pick them up. They were sitting in a garage for 4 years in plastic garbage bags. Talk about a find. Also these are the 18" O.Z. not the typical 17" that are more commonly avaliable.

BAM92 - I will try to get my friend to take a pic of the rear. My Camera busted so he was able to take these shots. The rears are perfectly in line with the bottom portion of the aerobody with a slight buldge from the tires.

Well supreme coolness, Always happy to see forum members ticked pink on an EvilBay find you owe that tipper a beer . They look great on that car. Really finishes it off nice!! Good luck with the ride Goldcylon
