Default Noise from Clutch

My car started making a intermittent noise when the clutch is in. Anyone had this problem? My slave cylinder is leaking a little and I am replacing it, but someone said it may be the two piece clutch. Any tests? Thoughts? The noise goes away as soon as you let the clutch out. It is a bad noise! Thoughts. Thanks

My educated armchair diagnosis would be a bad throwout bearing.
It's a loud squeal like noise, right?
How many miles on the car?

ZR1's don't have a two piece clutch. Just a standard clutch disk and a pressure plate.
It does have a dual mass flywheel, maybe that's what you're referring to.
They do fail, but the failure mode usually produces a knocking sound.

If the sound is a very high pitch squealing one, it might also be your pilot bearing. They seem to fail more frequently that throw out bearings.
