Noise from Clutch
My car started making a intermittent noise when the clutch is in. Anyone had this problem? My slave cylinder is leaking a little and I am replacing it, but someone said it may be the two piece clutch. Any tests? Thoughts? The noise goes away as soon as you let the clutch out. It is a bad noise! Thoughts. Thanks

It's a loud squeal like noise, right?
How many miles on the car?
ZR1's don't have a two piece clutch. Just a standard clutch disk and a pressure plate.
It does have a dual mass flywheel, maybe that's what you're referring to.
They do fail, but the failure mode usually produces a knocking sound.

My advice on this is always the same. contact Bill Boudreau...www.zfdoc.com Great guy and he knows what he is talking about especially when it comes to anything dealing with the clutch or the ZF-6 tranny
