Code 32 1993 Z
Code 32 The most common cause of this code is a bad or intermittent EGR switch which is located on the EGR pipe between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. Replace this switch first when you get this code. Next, check electrical connections at EGR valve solenoid and then the ECM. Check all vacuum lines for leaks especially around the EGR valve. Possible ECM failure.
Once in awhile the SES light will light up. When I restart the car it's off for maybe the next three or four times I drive it. The car idles with a slight miss. A nickel will only stand on the plenum 5 seconds. Pulled code 32. Where exactly is the EGR switch? I can't find it. Car has 12,000 miles if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance

The EGR valve is located at the front of the block on the passenger side. Look at the plenum just behind the throttle body, on the passenger side there is a metal flex pipe about 1 inch in diameter. Follow it down and it attaches to the EGR valve. There is also a signal modifier bolted to the underside of the plenum. Too bad, I just sold a complete EGR setup. Mark Haibek ( spelling?) can also burn you a new chip with the EGR removed. Good luck!
