Is there any possibility that the LT5 has been converted to a cad
computer aided design
Im having a idea and Im wondering if anyone knows or would have a idea where I could get it done at.
This would be for a model Im just wondering if its possible to get it done or if it is already done.
I have one of those 85 corvette 1/8th scale models collecting dust and I thought about converting it into a ZR1.
Now check this out theres a company that with the use of cad files can make anything out of wax then all you have to do is paint it very cool and not new tech but still cool.

Now I just need to find someone who might have this on cad or that can draw it for me!
anyone? is it possible?
I want it to look real

Melting Slicks
It is a 3D printer. Alot of companies use them to make items due to it is cheaper than casting something for a few pieces. We used one when I worked at Delta Faucet. It is really a interesting machine to watch.
I do remember that the finish was pretty crude and you would have to do some sanding and such to get it to look smooth.

Yeah I understand the use but I saw it in one of my model magazines and its really neat. Id like to also do some work on one of my helicopters as well make some nice looking 50 cals for my door guns but I havent built a model in a long time but I have a few that I need to work on.
But this is just a idea I thought about after seeing the advertisment for it in the mag. Just need it in cad to make it happen and Im sure it would be pretty expansive to have someone draw it even if I can get it done.

I have been wanting to model the LT-5 in CAD but don't have access to parts or drawings. We have 3 differnet CAD systems and digitizing equipment that can scan a part and create the CAD geometry. We also have 3 SLS rapid prototype machines that build parts from glass filled nylon and a rapid prototype machine that sinters different kinds of metal parts. It can do carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and colbalt chrome.
