Default ZR1/ C6 Z06 comparison Corvette Magazine

Hi
Just got the new "Corvette" Magazine and they did a 3 page article comparing a 93 ruby ZR-1 to the 2007 z-06.Interesting reading. There wasn't any comparison numbers ie: 1/4 mile or 0-60. It's nice to see the ZR-1 getting some press.

Nah - turns out that the car is so light it can only put down 300 of its 650 hp.

I wonder why they compared those 2 cars since the ZR really doesnt hold a candle to the C6 Z06 in stock trim. Totally different cars in my opinion, but I still love the ZR.

I would be really surprised if we didn't get our doors blown off in that comparison. We might stand up in some sort of era comparison (ZR-1s compared with 90s cars and Z06s compared with todays cars) but head to head, we'd be destroyed.

regular c6 seems like a better comparison.dont think a zr1 would win that one eighther ,i love my z but the c6 is a stout performer and the zo6 is in a different class.
