Sure doesn't have LT5 eye appeal, but that is serious HP. Not a big fan of stock looking LS-7 either but Katech is much better. Maybe they can do same for LS-9

Do you think parts for that motor will be hard to get in 10 years?

On the plus side, it looks better than the prototypes. I guess if I ever wanted to dress up my oil pan, that LS9 gives me some good ideas.

Would have been nice to see a brushed aluminum or polished piece in there to top off a badazz motor like that. If I see one more C5 or C6 with gaudy aftermarket engine covers (especially the wannabe old school finned vette type covers) Ill

Only one American engine comes near: A fully dressed Flathead Ford is a close second to our beloved LT5, IMHO... Now, the performance difference is substantial...
