LT5 Emblem
Anyone know where I can locate an LT5 Emblem? I've seen a few cars with them. I don't think they were an option, but I like the look and would like to add it to my car.
Thanks,
R.

Back around 1996, a gentleman from Florida was selling these. I believe his name was Robert Mecker. I bought a Black Rose one at Corvettes at Carlisle from Robert as I owned my Black Rose 93 at that time. Robert 'may' have placed a for sale ad in the old Legend newsltter around that time frame. I think he actually had them made up.
Should anyone locate him, tell him George Crouse says hello.
I hope this helps,
George

About 4 years ago I found the folks that had these licensed by GM and I forgot their names, but I had bought 2 for myself and acquired the last two bright red ones. I wish I bought more but I'm not greedy or try to make a killing off other Z members by hoarding and selling for 300% profit. When I call them back someone had bought the entire lot from them in all colors....not sure where they went to.

I bought one from the registry right after I bought my ZR1. I never opened it as it really doesn't fit my car color wise. It says it is from Past & Present Automotive Parts Company. Here is a link to a scan of it.

Many repros are available in many colors.
When I was looking for replacement about a year back, I found quite a few. However, there is only one that was designed for strickly black ZR-1s. those are a bitch to find. I found a couple extras, more than I needed, and bought them for possible future use.
Good luck on your search.

What are the colors for the LT5 emblem for the black ZR1's? I have a black ZR1 and I think the LT5 emblem would look cool off setting the rear ZR1 emblem. Does the picture in this post show the colors for the LT5 emblem for the black ZR1s?

Id like to find one for mine (car is black). THought about getting rid of the vanity plate and the 2 Zr emblems on the fender to stealth the car up a bit. Maybe even some LT1 tips. Nobody would be able to tell anything except a Z fan.
Besides, the car is too slow for my plate.

I wonder if there is enough interest the ZR-1 Registry might order more? GC

Sorry Guys I must have dosed off for a few days.
Yes, I have a 1991 Black/Black ZR-1 (#1604) along with the 04 Spiral Grey C5 Coupe. Hoping to some day own the complete set of corvettes.
Thanks for the replies on the LT5 emblem. I guess they may not be available any more, but the hunt goes on.
