What is the name of the red on the c6
Im considering painting my car red. I have gone from green to yellow to blue and I just cant decide. I like red eve thought there are more reds than any other color but hey WTF

I believe it's called Victory red, but I think there are two of them. I know I didn't like the 05, but the 08 seems prettier. I really like the 04 red, it's like the picture of your engine.

Victory red is the basic red on the C6 (see avatar). Also, Crystal red, a metallic look, can be ordered at a slight increase in cost. Discontinued on the C6 are Precision red and Monterey red. Monterey is the very dark red. If you are thinking of the standard red then Victory is your color. I like the torch red of the C5s. It is slightly brighter to my eyes. Good luck.

I would think you'd be wired to the "closest possible match" to the engine color for it to look like a package. Mixing shades of red, blues, greens usually doesn't work.
The red you find as a match might likely not be a 'vette color at all.
I'd start with some "color chips" from all makes, find a match and go find the "car"! If you don't like "the car color" your only right back to where you are now "undecided"!
I only assume the engine in your avatar is yours! If it's not maybe "any red'll du"!
