Default Tire opinion

I am considering Sumitomo HTR-Z incredibly inexpensive.
Any out there using this tire? This is my daily driver unless it snows.

Thanks.

I use them on my driver and they've been working fine. I don't autocross or drag race, so I cant give an opiniion there.

I have enjoyed 2 sets of them with no issues... Also ran a new set in the Silver State with a 156 average... Once they warmed up the drive was very good. I have a set on order right now. The best part is knowing that wearing out a pair of rears is only going to cost you about $250.

I have a set and they're great for daily driving... I believe Mikko ran them at Spring Mountain on his stock 90 and waxed all the other Z's. He even beat Uly who had race slicks...

Got them on my Ruby and for the money LOVE them, you could alway's pay twice the price for Goodyears and in 4 or 5 years will be hard as h*** and not hook anymore. So they will be junk and money down the drain. So then you will keep running them becouse you spent so much money on them & feel like you need to get your Money's worth.
Meanwhile back at the cheap ranch we have ordered our second set of Sumitomo's and are hooking up and burning rubber when we want and not crying about $300.00 each Goodyears.

I got lucky and found two rear GSD3's for 99.99 on closeout from a local tire shop otherwise I was ready to try the sumoto, and it seems the sumotomos are available most of the time compared to the other makers. Availability of GY now has me ready to try something different next time even though I really like the GY's. Or go to 335's on rear and open up some other possibilities.
