If you were reffering to the 1990 model Fastlane Goldstien built... then... that 1990 Z would be the "quickest" naturally aspirated ZR-1 I know of... as far as the "fastest" stock 1990 ZR-1 in the quarter... that would be the one with the best built motor and most skillful driver behind the wheel... The only way you will know that for sure is to research reliable sources... The opinions will vary...

This is about the most intelligent thing that got written in this thread. You have to have large juevos to drive these cars as fast as they will go...So the answer may be the car that belongs to the dude with the biggest ***** and the smallest brain...beyond that the turq '91's are way faster than any other ones I know of.

Well, almost. Any fool knows that the steel blue ones are the fastest.

I cant speak for all, but I watched, read, and waited longer for the 89-90 debut and euphoria surround our cars then the current batch.

It took me 17yrs to get the item I day dreamed over, but I got it.

Get a copy of the Heart of the Beast and read about the King.

If your on the list for the new breed, enjoy being a part of history.

Right on brother! I just got my '90 ZR-1 and I absolutely adore this car. Oh and Heart of the Beast was a spectacular read. However, in about 17 years, I'm looking forward to adding an '09 ZR1 to the stable!

90s were the lightest, but some of the 94-95s had some amazingly well ported motors. I know of an admiral blue 94 that runs mid 12s on street rubber at 115 mph - never touched the engine!!!
