Default Interesting

I saw an auction for some 'genuine Geoff Jeal' headers. The auction was started at $500, with zero bids. It ended with one bid of $1200. Now, why would a person bid $1200, when they are the only one? Looks suspicious.
And, sure enough, here they are again! Guess the $1200 wasn't enough for a used set of headers?!?

Hmm maybe they had a shill bid to end the auction early? Or maybe the high bidder changed their minds or lots of possibilites? I agree its odd but nothing I havent seen before as a seller or buyer on Ebay over the last 11 Years.

Well, of course it was a shill bid. Why bid $1200 when you can bid $500?
And then the seller doesn't take the offer?

What do yall think those headers are worth? I've got a brand new set of Geoff Jeal headers and don't know what the're worth.

Maybe they thought the BIN at $1200 was a good Deal? Jeals are pretty hard to come by ($1000 to $1200) is not an unheard of price. So anythings possible. Remember these headers are a direct fit with no dipstick tube relocation issues. I have no idea but I have seen stranger things but I agree definatley hokey. Are you in the market for a set?

With or without 02 bungs and 02 Sensors. (ceramic or jet Coated) or not coated. Makes a difference.

People do bid what things are worth to them. Why bid $1,200 instead of $500 what makes you think $500 buys them? A lot of people wait until the last second to bid, I do. There are so many variables to this.
Basiclly you bid what things are worth and just because the min. bid is $500 doesn't mean that gets them bought.

Yea, I'm thinking about it. SW is the only thing new, right now.

What's the dipstick tube issue?

I just put Watsons on and had no dipstick issue.

BTW, notice the Buy it Now price is lowered to 999. They're not coated.

GC,

Now that it was described, we did need to remove the dipstick but it really didn't present any issue.

Question related to the long tube headers..... is there room to install the bullet cats? Looks like they use up the space the cats use on the stock system.

Thanks
Rick
