Not a ZR-1?

I don't think this is a legit ZR-1. No badges, from what I can tell. It's auto. No black spacers.

I often wonder when we see these standards advertised as a ZR-1 if the owner is really that dishonest, or he/she themselves got sold "a bill of goods" - all this time living with the illusion of the car being what it is actually NOT!?
Here's a few more exterior clues...
You already caught the spacers in the license plate recess are missing
The brake light too (all ZR-1s came with the high third brake light)
The butt is wide to accommodate the rear 315x35x17s and so too there is a deep (lug nut) well in the ZR-1 rear wheel allowing for the offset.
The ZR-1 exhaust featured twin, rectangular tips on each side (the tips this car has are LT1 style).
All Zs came with the ZF 6-speed manual, tho there have been a few conversions to autos over the years.
The Zs have the 8 grand tach and a Valet Key under the radio to lock out the secondaries.
Then of course if the hood is open, the LT5 would be there too.
Yep...These fakes are always good for a laugh. On the other hand, it is sad that so many Corvette drivers are so ignorant when it comes to their rides, and especially the ZR-1s.
At car shows it is fun to see the expressions. At first glance it is almost one of boredom. Then something (I guess the number of runners is...somehow wrong) catches their eye and the gap between their eyebrows narrows (if there IS a gap between their eyebrows, that is!) It's not often the look of one seeing something special, but more often it is just more a look of confusion - more runners than they remember seeing before...maybe...but not sure...Hmmmm. It's a hoot to watch

It'd be interesting to hear the seller's reason for putting ZR-1 in the ad...since it's so easily identified as NOT one. But, didja notice the plexiglass headlight covers? I'd like to try a set of those with some of the new high intensity lights.
