Default Wheel Tire Combo

I just received a set of Shelby Series 1 wheels which are 18x10 front and 18x12 rear...I know 275/35 will work (but they get rounded off alot) on the front; so, I was considering the 285/30 or 295/30 instead. The rears will be 335/30 Michelin PS2's

Your thoughts are appreciated.

That combination will work fine. Great tires.

which one...285, 295, or 275?

Can anyone calculate me the sidewall heights for the respective sizes? 285/30 18 ; 295/30 18; 275/30 18

285/35 would best match the 335/30 in terms of diameter and section height...but i don't think Michelin makes the PS2 in that size.

Yeah I can get PS2's in the 335/30 but not regular Pilot Sports...the PIlot Sports come in 285/35 but not the PS2...what a pita! So I can have Mismatched tires in the sizes I want or I can settle for the 275/35 PS2 on the front which I guess I will do.

Specs for the 275 list an ideal wheel width of 9" to 11". I'd say your 10" front wheel fits the bill perfectly. Works for me just fine

I put 285 front and 335 rear w/ stock wheels on my 90 and they're perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to go w/ the 285s up front.

you going to move the centers to the outside of the wheel and run spacers?

that is what I did. if you have C5 front brakes you will need a 1/4" spacer to clear the caliper too

I still have stock brakes so I will be leaving them alone.
