Damage Toledo Pro Hood Is It Worth Fixing

No! this hood looks to be a made from a hand lay up of fiberglass, the stock hood would be SMC.
This could be fixed, but if you have to pay for the labor it would be cheaper to buy a new hood.
Run away from this!

If it's hand laid, which it should be, it would be an easy fix. Only need to make a mold off of a good hood section and splice it together. I am 1.5 hrs from Dayton. Bring it to me and I'll fix it.
Is it on a race car? If so, I'd fix it and go on racing.

SMC is fiberglass...SMC defines a process. BMC was the process used before SMC but both processes are fiberglass strands and resin. BMC is bulk molded compound while SMC is sheet molded compound and they use different types of resin.
