Chrome OEM saw blades and GSD3's.....

I think I'm going to go look at it tomorrow. I finally posted my LT4 Firehawk on Ebay, so I need to start looking for another toy, and I think it's going to be another Vette. I had a 92 M6 LT1, and an 01 Z06, and honestly I missed the 92 after I went to the Z06. Figure if I'm going to look at Vettes again why not look at the ultimate C4.
Anything special I should keep an eye out for besides all the regular C4 stuff?

That is an awesome deal and it doesn't look like that dealer even knows it's a zr-1. If this one was available several months ago I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Just got back from looking at the car. I'd rate the exterior as probably a 7, and the interior at an 8. Overall it's a nice car, but there are a few issues:
Glass top has a bad crack (completely split, probably 1/8").
Brakes were VERY spongy.
Radio works, but has really bad whine, not sure if it's the head unit or one of the speakers.
Weather stripping on body at rear of both doors needs to be replaced.
Weather stripping on painted top needs to be replaced.
There is a minor noise from the engine bay at low speeds/rpm. Don't think it's anything serious, but I don't remember it from my 92 LT1. Might be ZR1 specific, but just not sure. It's almost like a slight rattle, and I could only hear it when in motion at low speeds (i.e. parking lot).
-Edit- Just realized that it had a standard windshield instead of a ZR1 windshield.
It's the first time I've driven a ZR1, but my 92 Vette was an M6 FX3 car, and I had an 01 Z06 and now my LT4 Firehawk, so I have some reference points for comparison. Wasn't able to really get on it since it was close to rush hour, but I did do a couple of short blasts on the access road. Ran it up to about 6,000rpm or a little over before having to shutdown, and the car is definitely quick. Easily broke the rear tires loose in 2nd gear with traction control off. I'd say equivalent to my LT4 Firehawk, which is right at 330RWHP. Given that I was short of the ZR1s peak by a good 500-800rpm, I'd guess it's easily making the 375HP that it was advertised to have.
After going over the car, and the test drive I asked the sales rep what the bottom dollar price is. They have $13,9 on it on the lot, and $12,9 on the Internet. He came back and said the $12,9 was the bottom dollar price. Told him with the issues that I'd found that they were probably $1-$2K off. He said he'd work on his manager to see what he could do. So, at this point I'm just waiting on my Firehawk to sell, and see if they can bring the price down a little more. If they can, I will probably pull the trigger on it.

That's kind of what I'm thinking, but if I can get them to come off it another grand or so it would be even better.

I have a 92 ZR-1 and if you want to look and drive it, it's okay by me. It's better to have a yardstick to look at because you really to look at one that is running good to make a comparison. I am over in Grapevine near DFW airport. I have the time right now, so it would be fun. I can show you stuff that you would need to know about the car since I work on my own baby. Let me know. It's black with about 87k on it.

Real close to me
It is so close to me, I could throw a brick at it. I won't but I think I might swing by there today and just sneak a peak at it. I love to llok at ZR-1's no matter the year or condition. Rare to find one at a dealer.
