Changing plugs on an LT5...
What's the best brand? Are those new Champion dual platinum tip plugs any good?
These plugs have been in the car for years. Is it best to attempt to remove them with the engine hot to prevent galling? Also, is the "slapping" of the ratchet wrench best to "break" loose the threads rather than a continuous pull...
Experts only please...Thanks!

2: COLD ENGINE ONLY! I mean 24 hours + cold. Aluminum is soft to begin with. Working on it warm is a recipe for disaster!
3: I always prefer continuous pull with gradually increasing torque. I wonder if PB blaster would penetrate to the threads? Also, when you re-install the new plugs, use Anti-Seize!
