Help! oil lines leaking
my 90 ZR-1 is leaking oil at the oil lines between the block and the oil cooler. What are my best options to keep this Bloomington Gold car original and repair this issue?
thanks!

You could always pay $300-$400 for an original set.
The service replacement battery is going make you lost 10 points just to put it in perspective.
Don't go too crazy, you get extra points for driving there, fire extinguisher, ncrs sticker etc.

Melting Slicks
They are factory replacements and you will lose what 1 point out of 4,500?

Ncrs
I know I am entirely to **** about this but my car scored 4472 in April and I am going to try and raise that next time.

This was a common problem on these cars and even when they were brand new. Some of the replacement lines from GM neck down from what were originally installed on the car from the factory.

Can you use the later '93+ ones? They have silver fittings instead of black. That's what the GM replacements were (at least recently when I bought mine).
Do they actually look for the different ones based on year? Or could you paint the later ones black and get away with that?

I have SS braided lines on my 1990. When it was NCRS judged I only lost a few points. The oil cooler lines are lumped into a few other parts which helps dilute the point impact.
I have an OEM set from a 1990 that doesn't leak. I might be willing to part with them for enough $$. PM me if you are serious.
