Service Engine Soon light after coolant change

Nacho,
Are you sure the light you are seeing isn't a service ride control light which will lite up and display after 3 startups and car not moved during that time?
As other had suggested, have you topped off the lower coolant resouvoir, the one that sits below the right hand headlight assembly.

Yes it's the SES light, however, the Service Ride Control light did light up as well the last 2 times I started up the car. I didn't worry about that one too much.
I do appreciate all the responses. It's definitely been great having jetJock and Evan around this past weekend, gathered around the hood and shooting the **** really made the time fly by

Well, as far as I know, there is only one area where the "Service Engine Soon" light comes up and that is the DIC but what do I know. I've only had 4 C-4's and two of them were ZR-1's. I feel pretty confident of that since I saw it walking around the back of the car through the hatchback glass and telling Carlos to shut it down.
I think that we can all agree that the car had the SES light on and move on. I have an idea about it but I'll wait until Friday to confirm my hypothesis.

I think in the context that we are using using it was the DIC. I have never seen SES on the speedo section even though my battery was near death. I haven't seen it in the service manual either. I've seen "SYS" quite a few times but no SES. Basically, the caution message was spelled out. Speedo doesn't do that.

Well, FWIW, found out the Service Engine Soon light was about the Left O2 sensor. Got a H44 on the history of the ECM. Started up the engine after jumping it because the battery was dead.(don't know how that happened but we're checking it out). Got the engine up to 227 degrees and all was good. No lights. Took it out for a run and after getting on it for real and came back to the house. Carlos felt the brakes were dragging and after we stopped at the house, noticed a lot smoke coming from the calipers and the brakes. Working that one. Also noticed some fluid in the area under the plenum, so we are going to pull the plenum again and check it out as well. Engine ran real good. Now working other issues. Stay tuned for the Nacho Express.
