Default Aftermarket EFI for LT5?

Have someone interested in the LT5 I have for sale, sounds like he wants to put it in a street rod.

Whats the most cost effective way of wiring this thing up?
Complete system...fuel pumps etc?

I understand Marc Haibeck is recently involved in building a custom LT5 harness for a hotrod app. Might give him a shout. But, short of that, starting with a stock harness and modifying it might be a place to start. At least you'd have all the connectors, and that would be a good head start on a DIY harness. Dominic is parting out his car. He might be able to accommodate ya.

Halltech has a nice easy to use unit. The cost is reasonable too.

nothing aftermarket thats plug and play. If he is gonna keeps stock use factory ecm and wire harness. If going turbo or something else get big stuff 3. Have to make a crank trigger wheel for that and some other stuff too.

I am running an Accel Thruster and it works great. They have the harnesses and sensors for almost any engine. Not exactly plug and play but they have templates that you can pick to get you going and then tune from there. Also has a wizard feature to help you get the initial config setup if you have no template that is suitable.

I loaded the config, hooked up the harness to the engine and had it running on the second crank.

That being said, in my research after the fact I found that the Holley system has a lot more support, lots more templates to chose from and an install manual that is far better than the Accel product.

Check this out:

It will require adding the pump and fuel pressure reg

Marc Haibeck is stripping my harness right now as well as burning my PROM. (Removed secondaries, VATS, headers, etc.) This may be the one you are referring to. He has done several before mine and advised me on what other relays and such I would need. Price was very reasonable as well.
