Default C6/c4

Nice stable mates. I have a 94 ZR1 sitting next to my 08 AO C6. The ZR1 registry really has a bunch of cool folks on it and lots of help with issues, parts, and great stories. www.zr1.net

Nice, I've always loved the white C4s. I really wanted a white ZR-1, but I found too good a deal on my black one.

In 20 years base Corvettes will have a 1000hp and ZR1's will be rated in Thousands of pounds in thrust with or without afterburners.

or better yet they'll be rated in voltage.....

Bravo!

One thing though, your rear wheel off set is wrong, I think? Probably GS aftermarket wheels?

Nice car enjoy!

Good eye, we're gonna have to see the LT5 to validate.

The wheels are new. I'm working on acquiring the original wheels from the previous owner.

I'll post pix of the LT5 next week when I get home from our Christmas vacation. A work of art!

Will a base C6 outrun it. Yes. But not by a heck of a lot!

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys!

I'm yearning to get a C6 Z06 as a stablemate for the ZR-1. The fully ported and tuned LT5 will give up nothing to the stock LS7, how some ever.

Congrats ! Mine's white too.

In 20 years I wonder if any Corvette will beat the records the C4 ZR1's set?

Stock Z06 = 500+hp. @ (3150lbs.)

You'd better get the jump

Because when ZO6 passes it's going to shake the ZR1 , sorry guys but that's the fact.

Don't you just love hyperbole? It ain't that much faster, 1/2 sec. at most.
The old Z should cut a best of 11.50 'ish, and the Z06 should be good for the Tens if it's driven right.
I've been lucky enough to spank a few Vipers, and Z06's with an old stock motor ZR1. There are so many guys that think those things are so fast that they never learn to really get the most out of them.

There is NO stock ZR1 going to go 11:50's. Closest one that I know is a white 91 (11:60's) has the top end done , cams retimed, headers , modded exhaust. That car is in central Fla. and the driver is good.
Not here to knock the ZR1. I own 2.

FYI "FU" owns 2 ZR-1's(one 385 LPE and 440 stroker) and a C6 Z06.... I take him at his word.
