25-30k in this poor economy.

More then likely seller desires 32-36k.

There are a lot of 90 ZR-1's with under 5k miles (many half of that) that seem to come up every few weeks. What the car is worth, and what it would sell for in this economy and the changing collector car environment are probably thousands of dollars apart. With that in mind, I'd say high teens. It would depend upon what you are looking for.... short term investment, long term investment, wanting a specific car/color, etc.

$26,999.00

8k with no issues will see a premium over the run of the mill ZR-1 which can be had for $18- $20k.

$29,000 bucks -1,000 miles

I'd rather see more mileage on it though like 5-10k.

Someone that is looking for a one with that few of miles will probably pay a premium for it, the trick here is mating both the car with such a buyer. I have seen cars that have very few miles but were not stored correctly, so the second part of this, is the overall condition of the car. The third player is the state of the economy, this either drives up or down the overall market price. Just like the stock market, you wouldn't want to sell when the market is down unless you really have to, because sooner or later the price will bounce back up (nice clean no story car). On my last car show here locally, I was pleasantly surprised at the comments people were making about the few C4's that were being shown. It seems that they have become sort of rare, as you don't see many if any on the roads anymore, especially the C4 ZR-1's, something that will eventually drive prices up.

Big difference in what it is worth and what it will bring. I agree with the higher estimates, if you can afford to wait for the right buyer but the reality is...if you are in a hurry to get out, I think the high teens estimate... is not too far out of line.

It is just my opinion.. but we are not far from the prime selling time for these cars. There seems to be a small window in the spring when ZR-1's bring a premium. If you can wait just a little time, then I say you might do as much as a couple thousand better on the car .... If you can catch that Spring window.

Long term, I don't think the high twenties or more is out of the question, maybe not this year....but possibly a couple years down the road(provided the economy is steady or better, all bets are off in the case of another downturn).
Hope you get what you need for it, when you do sell

Nice Zr1 and very good price. This car can probably be had for 25,000.

3 things this car would need.
1. all fluids flushed and changed
2. 16 new fuel injectors
3. new tires and TPMS removed (or find some 1990 wheels and mount new tires on those and store the original tires and wheels.

total investment on top of purchase price = 3000 to 4000 bucks.

Then drive the snot out of it. best under 30k sports car value around.

Someone needs to jump on this one

I get worried about cars that average less than 200 or so miles per year. At 21 years of age, this ZR-1 has had less than 50 miles per year put on it. This type of mileage is fine if you want a long term static display, but not if you plan to drive the car. Still, as other stated, you can bring the car back to life with a bit of money.

Yes, Isn't that the truth. Even here in Florida, where Corvettes are as common as Corollas, (almost ), Sharks, and C4's are pretty rare on the streets. And the conservative C4 body style is looking better all the time, especially the ones with the "big bootys".
I get complements all the time, and people are shocked that the car is twenty years old.
This just might be the bottom of the C4 market right now..I hope so.

1990's are Great ZR-1's to buy, but there are 1991 to 1993 and 1994 / 1995 as well to choose from. (different interiors and HP change in 1993 to 405hp)

A beautiful 1994 Admiral Blue ZR-1 just sold for $18,500!

Keep your eye out and don't be in a hurry. Once you drive one, you will be HOOKED!

Good luck and let us know other specific questions you might have

You could do all of it 1000-2000.

The 94 zr-1 had 75k miles on it. Not high mileage for a zr-1 but very different then a 8,000 mile zr-1 (even if it's 375hp 90) mileage, condition, maintenance is key in value.

The 94 was cool rare color.
