Ran a scan on my 1990 ZR1 and code 61 was the only one. I was told driver's side o2 but wanted to clarify with the pros on this site.

I believe you've likely been informed wrong! What was used as a scanning tool. Depending upon the scanner available diagnostics could vary. If just a code reader it's of no value.
