Default My new toy...

So I picked this up earlier today. It's a 64 Nova SS with a 406cu small block, Brodix aluminum heads, and some other goodies. All she needs is a paint job and I'm done Supposedly, the car runs 8.80's in the quarter mile but I'll find that out in the spring when the tracks open up again.

I love my Z but after she comes back from Corey's with the new Jeal headers, 4.30 gears, and custom tune, I think I will be done modifying her for awhile. The Z is just so rare and porting/polishing/stroking the LT-5 won't be cheap! I got the Nova for 7K!!!

Same car I drove to school when I turned 16. Good memories but a small back seat.

Nacho, Gotta Love the CHEBBIES, specially the 'Ol Ones...

If its really that quick, better wear brown drawers first time down the track @ full throttle, might wanna wear brown trousers as well!

Both cars, very cool. \
I'm surprised you got the Nova for only $7K, considering the Gasser look is coming back in fashion.
A friend of mine just found a 65' Nova SS, all original, in a barn.
Having a 55' like that is a dream of mine, but when I look at the price of one today I just que up the DVD of "Two Lane Blacktop" and try to calm down

Nacho,

406 smallblock with a set of WORLD Motown heads and a healthy hydraulic camshaft, roller rockers. Got a 12 bolt rear in it and just installed a M-22 rock crusher in it just like the two lane car. I kinda got a deal on the car, I paid 12K for it and I installed the tunnel and M-22, has a mid 60's Chevy Van straight front axle with disc brakes. Also picked up a one piece glass front I haven't installed yet.

These things are a ton O fun!

Always liked the early chevy II's with mods, lite as hell and easy to make them go like stink....
