But the White would match better in my Garage.
I think I just want this one and keep my AB one.

Gorgeous car. White IS for me. Whether it's the "peoples choice" or not.
Different strokes for different folks. I'll take the original "classic" Corvette color, White.
Isn't there another white Texas 415 around? I remember SW clicking off mid 10's in a twin to Paul's car, at Beech Bend, way back in the late twentieth century. Damn, that was a mean white ZR1.

Ok I know I spoke to SW years ago and he said he was buying the motor out of that car. I thought he said he was putting it in his White 94 at the time. Again its been years upon years since we talked about it. Maybe it never happen?

415s
There are a lot of 415s in Texas, so it's easy to get them confused. I *may* be misremembering, but I think this is an accurate recount:
LT5 John Scrivano's red 1990 415 was sold to someone (unknown) who supposedly ran some toluene/motorcycle race fuel mixture and turned the 10.30 in Texas.
Sanjay bought the vehicle, it was totaled, he put the 415 motor in the dark red metallic 90 he still possesses.
Paul Smith and Paul Denhert both had white 415s. Paul Smiths 415 (the one for sale and the one that turned 10.47@135 in Texas) was SWs original *monster* 415 with the one off cams. I cannot verify this to be the case, but it's purported that he sent that car *back* to LPE to have them removed before it was sold.
Hal Hunnicutt's 415 was recently sold to, ha ha ha, someone in Texas. Hal never talked to the guy on the phone, just a few emails, then he simply wired the money. A truck showed up several days later and that was it. He's never heard from the guy again, and the car's status is currently 'unknown.' If there is a 415 out there as strong as the reference car, it may be this one. It pulled 578rwhp SAE in 102 degree heat. It would have certainly been in the 590s in cool weather, *maybe* even eclipsed the magic 6 0 0 number. 135mph on street tires is *very* strong indeed. Damn, I should have bought it!

P.S. SW turned that 10.60; I have it on video.
