Calgon take me away
Okay forum I need a little help. I have an opportunity to purchase a bone stock 93 Ruby Red ZR-1 one owner (60K) or a modified 91 ZR-1 (31K) with 500+BHP for the same money which would you buy?

It will be hard to drive either of the cars. I live in Michigan and the cars are in Wisconsin, North Carolina. I should have been a little more descriptive on my original post. My intentions were to buy a C6 Z06 and modify that to 700HP. But I figured I can buy a ZR1 now the prices are great and they are not going drop any lower. Wait 2 years and get a C6 Z06 and than have 2 Corvettes for the same price.
I already have a extremely low mileage 98 pacecar and want to add more stallions to my stable. After All I have to keep State Farm in Business.

I'd say it depends on what you want from it. If you want a modded car then the '91 might be a better deal. If not, the '93 might be the better car as all other things being equal, it should be worth more later on down the road if you eventually plan on selling.
Also, consider the condition of both cars -- this may be the biggest factor if there are significant differences in condition. Mileage alone won't tell you what the condition will be like. How well it was taken care of will determine condition more than mileage. If you can't see them in person, see if someone else nearby would look at them for you.

^^^ I agree on the condition statement. You can't really treat a 20 yr old car like a 2 year old one by saying it has xx,xxx miles and this option etc, 20yrs old is 20 yrs old. I had to put nearly $5k into my 27k mile 91.
Some of it was optional restoration work and other stuff needed...like the injectors, general maintenance items, a hose or two, and then the big item was my 2nd gear was torn up so the ZF rebuild really cost (which was the only item I didn't do the labor myself).
