I want to make my 95 C4 growl!
I just bought a completely stock C4 with 80k miles and It's really quiet,
I'm on a really tight budget and I was wondering if getting rid of the first muffler on the stock exhaust and replacing it with an x-pipe of some sort would it make the car sound any better?
I'm looking for more of a rumble and or growl without hurting performance and trying to keep it as stock as possible.
My vette when I got the oil changed.
Thanks!

Well, looking at the picture of your car, it appears to be a LT-1 and not a ZR-1 (rear wheel offset). You might get a better response to your question by posting in C4 General or maybe C4 Tech Perf.
That said, I did removed the resonator and installed an X pipe in my old 92 LT-1. It made a nice rumble but ''livable'' in the cabin... finally installed a set of Borlas which made all the growl and resonance too.

Welcome to the forum. If your budget is tight, go with muffler eliminators. It gives you a nice rumble and no drone.

go check out mid america corvette - they have muffler eliminator pipes that go in place of the mufflers. they have the Lt1 exhaust tips. they are basically a straight pipe.
